Thoughts from Coach Schnebly

The game of baseball was my life and my main job for ten years. During that time I was lucky enough to be in the correct place at the right time to also be involved with semi-pro/minor league football. Baseball was my passion. Football was a heck of a lot of fun and a game I was able to take part in for ten wonderful seasons as a member of the offensive backfield (or receiver) for several wonderful teams. For the most part, I was able to play both sports at the highest level. I was able to play without too much disruption from the other sport. I enjoyed every second of my time in football. In both sports, I was allowed to be a contributing part of several great teams. There is nothing better than being on the best team in your sport at the highest level you can play.

I would like to say thank you to two gentlemen who helped facilitate my playing career and helped with life in general, L. Marion Oliver and Glen Della Valle. Both of whom were so much more than just people who were at the correct place each and every time I needed them, they helped me grow to become a man.
